Stocksy United is looking for a Social Media Coordinator
to join our growing marketing + design team.
Purpose
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Social Media Coordinator is responsible for translating the brand and marketing strategy into an organic social media presence which is audience-focused, sales-aligned, data-driven, and dialogue-driving. The Social Media Coordinator is essential in helping to define and shape the voice of Stocksy within the social media space and managing all inquiries through our social channels.

Hours: This is a full-time position with the standard hours of 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day. Typical working hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday to Friday (or in agreement with Team Lead). Overtime may be required as part of annual salary. All conditions of employment will be in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act.
Compensation: $45-60k CAD/year, extended health and dental benefits, education allowance, unlimited vacation policy.

You have:
1-3 years of experience in social media roles.
Hands-on experience with social media channels, platforms, and social management tools (i.e. Hootsuite).
Responsibilities:
Oversee social media accounts to engage and grow our audiences on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and new platforms as they arise.
Own organic social media publishing, scheduling, monitoring, optimization, and reporting from start to finish ensuring all deadlines given are met.
Own and maintain the social media editorial calendar ensuring it’s created and briefed to the Design Team one month prior to execution and reflects our inspire, educate, collaborate, purpose, and convert content pillars.
Support the Marketing Director, Brand Marketing Manager, and Digital Marketing Manager in their goals providing them with executional support as needed.
Write, edit, publish, and update content for posts, ensuring brand voice and tone are consistent across channels with platform customizations in place.
Work with our in-house Design team and freelancers providing editorial direction as necessary to create multimedia content that is informative, engaging, and on-brand for social platforms.
Support incoming social media requests from the wider marketing team and Stocksy organization in a timely manner and SLA of 48 hours.
Engage in social listening through a social management platform (Hootsuite) and tap into conversations wherever the brand is mentioned.
Take proactive actions to limit negative social media engagement.
Take proactive actions to increase positive brand sentiment, algorithm traction and followers by monitoring and influencing online conversations.
Monitor for any “crisis” communications and alert the Marketing Director immediately of any situation that arises that could affect brand reputation.
Reply to comments and direct messages using our brand voice within 24 hours of receiving them.
Communicate social media best practices and regularly demonstrate expertise on platform best practices, contributing regularly to information in the #socialmedia Slack channel.
Work with reps from each social media platform to understand best practices, new products, and new beta opportunities – bringing these back to Stocksy for consideration.
Optimize organic campaigns based on best practices, industry updates, and competitive environment on an on-going basis – keeping Marketing Director updated in weekly 1×1 on what is performing & not performing so that pivots can be made.
Drive full funnel marketing objectives from brand to demand focusing on Marketing Team KPIs.
Own the organic social media section of Monthly Marketing Report which provides a data-driven lens into the results from each marketing channel with a section on key recommendations that can be used to enhance the marketing strategy as well as Sales, Product, AR, and Tech strategies.
