Brockville Optometric Centre Looking for Optometric Assistant at Brockville, ON Full Time

Our optometric clinic is looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant. The successful candidate will be working directly with patients.

Primary duties for this position will be:

• optical dispensary duties such as assisting patients with frame selection, including ordering lenses, fitting new glasses, frame adjustments and repairs.

Secondary duties will include but not be limited to:

• Optometric pre-testing on patients and diagnostic imaging.
• Various reception duties such as answering phones, booking appointments, taking payments, and processing 3rd party/insurance payments.

We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, and has exceptional customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and efficiency are a must have. We are a busy, dynamic team environment and friendly attitude and pleasant demeanor are essential qualities.

While experience is preferred, the right applicant will be trained.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
