Key Responsibilities:

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Compiling and meticulously analyzing financial data to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
Ensuring that financial records are maintained in strict compliance with established policies and procedures.
Meeting all financial reporting deadlines and preparing financial management reports.
Overseeing the precise and timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Providing continuous management and support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
Developing and maintaining financial databases.
Preparing for financial audits and effectively coordinating the audit process.
Overseeing the meticulous recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Evaluating and advising on business operations, including trends in revenue and expenditures, financial commitments, and future revenue projections.
Collecting and analyzing financial information to recommend or develop efficient resource utilization and procedures, offering strategic recommendations, and devising solutions to business and financial challenges.
Ensuring strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as maintaining the integrity of financial data.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

A university degree in Business/Accounting.
Progress toward a professional accounting designation is preferred.
Food Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Experience in preparing schedules for year-end audits.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budget comparisons, and tracking.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications.
Familiarity with budget preparation and analysis techniques.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to motivate teams to deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
The ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently.
Strong ability to work well under pressure and meet established deadlines.
Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
The capability to draft and implement company policies and procedures.
Keen attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
