Position Summary

The Recruiter will work under the supervision of the HR Generalist, supporting the recruitment process and other administrative HR activities. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in the area of recruitment and selection. Responsibilities

Responsible for full-cycle recruitment; including assisting with writing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, posting, resume screening, coordinating and conducting interviews, and reference checks.

Headhunting – cold calling, sourcing candidates on professional networks and job sites such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc., thinking outside the box and getting results!

Recommend recruitment strategies and ideas that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.

Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, knowledge, and experience based on position requirements.

Develop and maintain contacts with universities, colleges, and other organizations in the identification of potential candidates.

Perform other related duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Assist the HR Generalist as required.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.

2-3 years of experience in a similar full-cycle recruitment role.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in using different recruitment tools and techniques.

Strong relationship building, organizational, and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

Demonstrated professionalism with excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience in the health care sector is considered an asset.
