About the Job
The Asset Management Procurement & Logistics Coordinator leads the Procurement and Logistics coordination of all 24-7 Intouch purchases and shipments on a global scale. You will work with external vendor partners and internal stakeholders (corporate business units, finance and IT leadership) to help keep asset costs down while ensuring supply-side needs can be consistently met on time.
As Procurement & Logistics Coordinator, You Will…
Own the Procurement Intake process and entering orders for purchase including updating the 24-7 Intouch Product Catalog
Work with current & prospective vendors and internal stakeholders to continually source products & services on both a local geographic and global scale
Facilitate the shipping of products both domestically and internationally including shipments from vendors and internal asset shipments from campus to campus
Update the global order tracker for each order as shipping/delivery information changes as well as helping ensure international teams update the same tracker(s) with local order information
Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in a routine and timely fashion on order statuses, market conditions and raising any potential flags as related to product availability or order status to Asset Management leadership
Work with Asset Management leadership to explore alternative and/or more cost effective procurement options and /or shipping methods as needs arise/change
Initiate and own the purchase order entry process as per the 24-7 Intouch procurement procedures
Send approved Purchase Orders to suppliers & international teams, including setting delivery expectations
Collaborate and coordinate with Finance to secure pre-payment for orders as required to ensure timely shipment release by vendors
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with current and potential vendors on a local and global scale to:
Facilitate and coordinate the vendor quoting process including updating internal stakeholders on various procurement status(es) as required
Obtain and maintain additional quotes and options from vendors (existing and new) on hardware assets and digital assets as needs arise/change
Maintain the Asset Management vendor procurement database consisting of all active global vendors along with current representative information as utilized by Asset Management
Update database regularly as information changes or as new vendors are added
Maintain and update the 24-7 Intouch Approved/Vetted IT Asset Product Catalog as well as initiate the internal vetting process with internal stakeholders for new models/equipment as required
Prepare commercial invoices and packing lists for shipments as required using 24-7 Intouch templates as well as help initiate shipments on a global scale with shipping partners
Update the Asset Management order tracker system for each order as well as communicate and collaborate in a timely fashion with multiple internal stakeholders in different departments and global geo’s as related to each shipment
Raise any potential flags as related to shipping/transport delays that threaten delivery ETA
Help ensure all global campuses are following 24-7 Intouch procedures with regards to Asset Transfers between 24-7 campuses as required and ensuring all trackers are updated as required

Requirements
As Procurement & Logistics Coordinator, You Have…
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum 1 year experience working in Procurement or International Logistics
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Experience with inventory management
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact, consult and collaborate with diverse groups of people, both internally and externally
Superior attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills to complete multiple projects in a timely manner
A highly resourceful, proactive and reliable attitude
Sense of urgency to work in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment
Flexibility to adapt to last minute priority changes
The ability to work with ambiguity
