Rebar Detailer/Project Coordinator (Bilingual)
Join our team in Kanata as a Rebar Detailer/Project Coordinator, where you’ll play a crucial role in creating precise rebar shop drawings to meet project specifications. Utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD and RebarCAD, you’ll interpret structural drawings, adhere to industry standards, and ensure seamless fabrication and installation processes.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate rebar shop drawings using AutoCAD and RebarCAD
- Interpret structural drawings and adhere to industry and company standards
- Ensure drawings facilitate efficient fabrication and installation
- Track scope changes and issue change orders promptly
- Maintain precise project records and documentation
- Serve as a liaison between contractors, rebar installers, and other stakeholders
- Prioritize customer satisfaction at all project levels
- Resolve construction conflicts and disputes innovatively and promptly
We’re seeking candidates with a background in rebar detailing, complemented by post-secondary education in Architectural Technology, Civil Technology, or a related field. Fluency in both English and French is essential, along with exceptional communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, strong computer skills, and the ability to read blueprints are required.
