Job description
Kitimat 345 Construction Ltd is currently accepting resumes for local, knowledgeable and hardworking construction labourers for our projects in Kitimat, BC. The successful candidates must be able to follow instructions, be eager to learn, work independently and be able to operate a variety of small equipment. Willing to train for the right person
What You Will Do:
- General ground works or structure construction labour
- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
- Maintaining cleanliness of the job site
- Prepare work areas and materials
- Ensure tools are cleaned and organized at the end of shift
You Will Bring:
- 1 + years’ experience as a general labourer; construction industry considered an asset
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work effectively in climatic conditions, good manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina
- Understanding and cooperation of safety policies and safe work practices
- Reliable, hardworking, and strong attendance records
- Availability to work overtime with potential for weekends
- Strong work ethic and a positive team player
- Able to effectively communicate verbally and follow instructions
Compensation based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- construction: 1 year (preferred)
