As a Technical Sales Representative, the primary function will be selling in the field to both existing and prospective customers. The TSR is the direct link between our organization and its most valuable asset – our customers. This role requires a hunter mentality, superior interpersonal skills, and the ability to be an active listener. The Technical Sales Representative must have the intuitiveness to identify opportunities and the skills required to seize those opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Generate and execute sales at existing accounts and identify new opportunities for sales growth within the territory.
2. Develop strong relationships at multiple levels with existing and prospective customers
3. Plan sales activity at each account and set sales goals and strategies by product line.
4. Promote and facilitate customer product training and seminars
5. Make joint calls with Product Managers and the Sales Manager to support specific product initiatives and corporate objectives.
6. Ensure company Sales and Marketing objectives are met with respect to profit, margin, policy, and product line sales
7. Stay current with company products
8. Attend industry-related networking events and tradeshows
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of industry-related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
100% available to travel on a daily basis, some overnight travel required
Self-motivated and exceptional organizational skills to work remotely
Demonstrate ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
