Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Lead Carpenter at 604builders. The Site Supervisor/Lead Carpenter will be responsible for performing carpentry work, operating power tools and hand tools, and specializing in framing and finish carpentry. This role will also coordinate multiple trades on sites, problem solve and cross collaborate with various resources to deliver an on-time, on-budget project. The candidate will work on various residential construction projects located in North Vancouver, BC.
Qualifications
- Carpentry, Framing, and Finish Carpentry skills
- Experience in operating power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Able to work with cross-functional trades and foster success
- Physical stamina and strength
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in residential construction is a plus
