The Academy for Mathematics & English tutors students from SK to grade 12 for Math and grades 11 & 12 in Physics and Chemistry. We are currently recruiting Enthusiastic & Knowledgeable candidates at our Markham Crossing location to be our senior tutors for high school Math, Physics, and/or Chemistry.

Job Description:
Must be able to tutor the following subject areas: Geometry/Algebra/Trig/Calculus & Vectors/Advanced Functions and/or Physics & Chemistry.
- Sessions are held in the afternoon, evenings and/or weekends.
- Tutors work with the same students on a daily/weekly basis
- This is a permanent part-time position
- Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans and the teaching curriculum is provided
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a degree in the related fields or currently studying in them
- Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- A minimum of 1 year tutoring experience is required
- Candidates must be available Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm. to 8:30pm. and Saturday from 10:00am. to 4:00pm. (Minimum of 3 days per week)
** This position is only for In-person tutoring not virtual**
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 – 25 per week
Salary: $29,000.00-$35,000.00 per year
