Role of the Services Marketing Team
The Services Marketing Team works with Accenture’s Chief Strategy Officer to bring the business strategy to life across the organization. The team then translates the business strategy into Marketing and Communications (M+C) programs across our four Services—Song, Industry X, Technology and Operations.
Position Description & Responsibilities
Working as part of Accenture’s Technology Marketing + Communications team, this position will be responsible for developing and supporting internal and external marketing and communications programs that support key business priorities in our Security practice.
We are looking for a marketing and communications professional who can effectively influence and collaborate across Accenture. In this role, you must be able to quickly understand, analyze and communicate technology innovations and trends and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
While there is never a typical day at Accenture, and that’s the beauty of it, here are a few highlights about the role:
Plan, develop and implement marketing and communications initiatives that build our Security positioning in the marketplace with our clients, our people and key influencers
Develop, launch and manage campaigns and programs that include content such as PoVs and other thought leadership, internal and external events, employee and candidate engagement programs, client stories, social media, executive positioning and more.
Develop strategy, bespoke content, research, and communications for our C-suite and special programs and drive end-to-end execution of these programs, assuring delivery excellence, brand alignment for all strategic events (both owned and 3rd party events)
Curate and position Accenture Security’s content to align to industry-specific and large Accenture events and awards and I&D programming.
Manage business intelligence reporting to assure ROI and adjust and refine programs to continually align to targets.
Collaborate and integrate with across marketing and the business, looking for new or strengthening existing opportunities to expand our reach.
Manage internal and external agencies, writers and creative designers as needed.
Conduct market, competitor and other research.
Manage workflow using relevant tools to support strategic planning, marketing operations, budgeting and reporting.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years’ of experience in integrated marketing and communications.
Minimum of 1 year experience with technology and/or cybersecurity marketing.
English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our North America Market. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company’s activities to avoid this requirement.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to digest complex issues and topics and communicate them in a way to make them easily understood by a broad audience.
Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management and executive/C-suite stakeholder management skills.
Strong organizational, program and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects.
Excellent PowerPoint/presentation skills.
Strong background in collaborating with creative agencies and broadcast teams as well as familiarity with delivering unique client experiences leveraging new technologies.
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a virtual, problem-solving environment.
Able to work effectively and independently and at speed across functional and geographic groups.
Personal flexibility to work virtually, sometimes in the office and travel if required.
Willingness to participate in meetings outside of regular business hours to accommodate other time zones.
Sensitivity to the cultural variances across different countries.
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian.
