SUMMARY: The Payroll and Benefits Assistant performs duties within the human resources department. This position collects necessary data from employees, such as social security number, job title, and employment status. This information is used to fill out the appropriate paperwork. Additional duties may involve supplying employees with manuals, booklets, forms, provider information, and any other relevant information regarding benefits.
The Payroll and Benefits Assistant will support with the orientation to new employees. Payroll and Benefits Assistantmust keep meticulous records on each employee in order to prepare pay slips and deduct taxes to keep in compliance with government rules.
