Actalent Looking for Customer Engagement Specialist at Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Full Time

As an integral member of the Consultant Experience team, the Consultant Engagement Specialist reports directly to the Consultant Engagement Manager. The Consultant Engagement Specialist is responsible for ensuring our contract employees receive world-class customer service. Engagement Specialists act as the primary career advisor for a specified group of consultants, building relationships, acting as the consultant’s advocate, enhancing engagement, and driving our company vision to “Make a difference in millions of lives through engineering and sciences.”

Essential Functions:

• Liaison between field office, client and contractors working with respective accounts
• Enhancement of the onboarding experience: education around healthcare benefit enrollment, timecard system, client culture and expectations
• Act as main point of contact for onsite contractor employees which could include multiple client sites
• Partner with Field Support and Human Resources to ensure compliance. (ie: payroll or employee relations)
• Coordinate contract employee 30-day service touchpoints – building the relationship and enhancing the experience
• Utilize Reporting Dashboard in an effort to demonstrate consistency amongst our contract employees and business needs.
• Manage performance review process for contract employees while seeking feedback from client manager
• Retention touchpoints focused on the success and satisfaction of the consultant in their current position
• Travel to client site(s) and engage contract employee and client contacts. When appropriate partner with Recruiters on these site visits.
• Responsible for delivering any communication to contract employees that comes from the MSP
• Manage contract employee compensation. Collect information to discuss with Account Manager (performance feedback, bill rate, current pay rate, burden,
• spread amount, contractors expectation of increase) and making a recommendation as to what action should be taken
• Build internal partnerships though weekly meetings to ensure understanding of business demand and client updates

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 2 years’ providing customer service in a high volume setting
• Must be a local candidate
• Customer service focus
• Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve and meet deadlines and goals
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide proper follow up
• Required to be on site at the clients location 2-3 times/week
