Actalent Looking for Fpga Design Engineer at Ontario Full Time

Our Client in Ottawa is Looking for an Engineer with ASIC/ FPGA verification experience to work within a team tasked with bringing a novel product to Market. This Position is fully remote.

Eager for a new and exciting opportunity? Our telecoms client in Ottawa, ON is looking for a Radio ASIC/ FPGA designer to be part of a new R&D team. This team will be responsible for the design and development of a new technology within the 5G space. ASIC/ FPGA Verification experience is preferred, but the client is willing to onboard designers with a keen interest in Verification.

You will:

• Cooperate in test case creation and documentation.

• Help create verification environment using OVM/UVM and Assertion Based Verification.

• Execute and track FPGA verification test plans.

• Work with your team to create block and system level testcases to cover system requirements

• Work with RTL designers to identify functional and coverage goals for block and system level designs

• Work with RTL designers to create block and system level testcases to cover system requirements

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Working knowledge in FPGA verification tools and scripting languages (TCL, Bash, Python, Perl) and Matlab

Experience in verifying functional blocks in FPGA/ASIC.

Experience with protocol compliance verification, functional coverage evaluation and/or code coverage evaluation
