Actalent Looking for Mechanical Designer at London, Ontario, Canada Full Time

• Mechanical Designer *
• Description:*
• Complete component level design tasks while keeping supervisor regularly inform on progress and issues encountered. Ensure all designs are peer reviewed by technical lead or assigned mentor.
• Areas of focus: Propulsion systems including power pack, engines, transmission, cooling, fuel, pneumatics, hydraulics, mission equipment.
• Support test planning, execution, and reporting as assigned and under supervision of test lead.
• Provide status to supervisor on progress of tasks.
• Share insights and ideas for improvement with supervisor. Support improvement initiatives as requested.
• Identify opportunities for self-development. Raise ideas to supervisor attention.
• Support quality and RCCA related activities as requested.
• Skills:* design, designing engineering, systems engineering, bom, bill of material, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Manufacturing, aerospace engineering
• Skills & Qualifications:*
• University degree or College Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
• 1 to 5 years relevant engineering experience in Vehicle design
• Knowledge/Experience working with propulsion systems
• Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Project Management experience
• Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
• Experience Level:* Intermediate Level
