Advantage Engineering Inc Looking for Junior Cost Accountant/Accounts Receivable Clerk at Oldcastle, ON Full Time

SyBridge Technologies(formerly Advantage Engineering Inc.) is hiring for a new member of our finance team

Position Title: Junior Cost Accountant/ Accounts Receivable Clerk

Reports To: Controller

Location: 5000 Regal Drive, Oldcastle, Ontario

Shifts: Monday to Friday overtime as necessary

Pay Scale: $45,000 to $55,000 per Year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensure validity and accuracy of manufacturing costs through variance analyses, internal audit, and coordination with Purchasing, Scheduling and Production.

· Assist with performing month end close activities related to cost accounting.

· Complete and continuously refine a daily process to review costing and production activities within the Microsoft Dynamics ERP System

· Ensure the validity of standard cost for all inventory on hand

· Participate in physical inventory verifications and cycle counts

· Assist with periodic analyses of scrap and inventory obsolescence

· Maintain billing system keeping them up-to-date and carrying out billing duties

· Create and send out invoices

· Embark, follow up and collect payments

· Perform account reconciliations and monitor the account details of customers.

· Monitor the delayed or missed payments and other irregularities

· Examine and solve customer queries and complaints

· Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in-person

· Supervise and track accounts, write-offs, and reversals.

· Additional duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements:

· College degree in Accounting or Finance

· Superior excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s

· Strong analytical skills

· Must be able to work both independently and as part of a group

· Some experience in manufacturing environment preferred

· Will work primarily in an office environment but is expected to be highly familiar with all production operations and physical inventory

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred
