AEC Looking for Automotive Buyer at St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Note: This is a remote position based in Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and driven for success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Source inventory from multiple channels (Auctions, Dealerships, Private buys, Rental companies, etc)
• Build strong relationships/rapport with various sellers across the market
• Inspect vehicle conditions, damage reports, and accident history to strengthen buying decisions
• Effectively coordinate/collaborate with multiple departments (Reconditioning, Logistics and Accounting)
• Hit weekly targets based on assigned purchase requirements
• Manage vehicle inventory and upload unit purchases to our e-commerce platform

Your profile

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience relating to automotive Wholesale and Used vehicle acquisition
• Experience purchasing vehicles in a dealership environment is considered a valuable asset
• Post Secondary Degree (asset)
• OMVIC certification (asset)
• Previous experience with CRM programs and other related software

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & abilities:

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for automobiles and an adept knowledge of vehicle brands, makes, models and market trends
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and expertly prioritize tasks to optimize output
• Proven experience juggling multiple ongoing projects
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment
• Exceptional communication, problem resolution, and customer service skills
• Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work effectively as a team player or individual contributor
• Ability to perform at a high level of mental and physical capacity across diverse working conditions
