Mechanical Engineer/Designer

We are recruiting a quality-conscious and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer/Designer to grow with us at Aecometric Corporation. The successful candidate will join our Project Team and complete engineering design and manufacturing of our high intensity burners. The detailed responsibilities will include:

• Create PID, general arrangement drawings and manufacturing drawings
• Work with fabricating staff to improve existing products and processes
• Process ECOs (engineering change orders) and update shop personnel on design changes
• Follow document control rules to maintain a database of drawings and contracts

Must have:

• Be proficient in Autodesk Inventor/SlideWorks and AutoCAD with a strong sense of Design
• Mechanical engineering with strong Manufacturing experience with pressure vessel and pipeline fabrication.

Skill Requirements:

• A degree/diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Chemical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing environment experience. P. Eng is preferred.
• Solid Knowledge of ASME codes and standards of pressure vessels
• Knowledge of welding classifications – Structural (CWB) & Piping
• Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Assets:

• Familiar with Compress software and pressure vessel calculation
• Familiar with Combustion Equipment
