As the Director, People & Culture, you will be responsible for driving a people-focused, high-performance culture that emphasizes employee collaboration and engagement through processes and operations. You are comfortable building strong relationships and seek to understand every aspect of the business. You will drive results by providing strategic insight and provide advice on organization structure design, succession planning, and talent development. As a coach and mentor, you will also influence leaders at all levels of the organization.
As Director, People and Culture, you will implement and oversee all aspects of Human Resource functions to team members across North America. You will build strong relationships, seeking to understand every aspect of the business and drive results by providing strategic insight on people and culture solutions. You will provide strategic advice on organization structure design, succession planning, talent development, as well as coach and influence leaders at all levels of the organization. You will also lead the global talent agenda for and enable us to achieve our ambitions of sustainable growth with 200% YoY.
The Director, People and Culture will be part of Aequilibrium’s leadership team and report directly to the CEO.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build partnerships that drive business results through strategic people solutions
- Identify and implement clear and simple strategies to strengthen culture and optimize talent
- Drive results through leveraging Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams
- Design, develop and deliver key programs which may include talent planning, performance management, recognition programs, compensation plans, learning, and talent development
- Provide strategic advice on organization structure design, succession planning, talent development, employee engagement and culture
- Act as a trusted advisor on people and organizational initiatives
- Lead, coach, and mentor partners at all levels of the organization
What you bring:
- Passionate people person who understands that people are the key to outstanding results
- Strategic and hands-on experience driving the agenda for people and culture in fast-growing tech companies
- Able to implement standardized systems for recruitment, onboarding, day-to-day activities, personal development, and leadership training
- A seasoned professional with experience driving business results through inspirational and effective leadership of teams
- Be able to excel in leadership, radical candor, trust, empathy, and resourcefulness
- A forward-thinking mindset for what “could be” rather than what “is”, with recognition for collaboration, detail and heart
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-growing technology company, with 3+ years in a leadership role supporting senior executives
- Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
- The passion to build, develop and grow!
