Aerotek Looking for Assembly Line Worker at Kingston, Ontario, Canada Full Time

As an Assembler in the Fetal Scalp Electrode (FSE) Department, you’ll play a crucial role in assembling electrodes used to monitor infants’ heartbeats in utero. The parts are very small, requiring manual dexterity and keen eyesight. Each person is assigned a specific station or sub-assembly, working together to maintain a smooth production flow.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with small components for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain focus during repetitive assembly tasks.
• Experience: At least 6 months working in a production or manufacturing site doing repetitive assembly.
• Good Vision: Clear eyesight (corrective eyewear allowed) due to the tiny parts.
• Experience: At least 6 months of previous assembly or production required.
• Reliable Transportation: Must be able to commute between Kingston and Gananoque.
• Comfortable assembling intricate components (similar to watch springs and cogs) using tweezers and microscopes.
• Hobbyists with experience handling small pieces (e.g., miniature building, esthetics) are encouraged to apply.
