Aerotek Looking for Carpenters Helper/Apprentice at Richmond, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

• HIRING CARPENTER HELPERS & APPRENTICES* This company does all mixed use condos and is looking to bring on a Apprentice/Carpenters Helper. They will be working on an unoccupied mixed use construction and commercial sites.

They will work alongside carpenters and other skilled labourers.

They will receive direction from the foreman each morning and should complete the tasks assigned to them, include assisting carpenters with framing stairs, back framing walls, doing joists and cleaning up around site.

• Job Requirements:* 1. 2-3 years of wood frame construction experience
• Experience using power tools, skill saw, nail gun (on a construction site) 3. comfortable using a Tape measure, chalk line, hammer and square.
• Ability to get to Richmond (Hamilton project)
• Work Environment:* Construction site – supervised ,mixed use construction. commercial on the bottom, residential on top.

Will work with approximately 3-6 people on site, they typically work 40 hours a week, potential for overtime.

Working hours typically 7am – 3pm or 7:30am – 3:30pm
