Aerotek Looking for Electromechanical Assembler at British Columbia Full Time

We are currently hiring an Electromechanical Assembler for a manufacturing center located in Surrey, BC. This job opportunity will provide full time hours, long term benefits with stability and longevity. There will also be opportunity for growth and pay increases.

Responsibilities may include:

• PCB and Hardware assembly

• Soldering

• Electrical assembly

• Mechanical assembly

• Packaging

• Performing pre-tests

• Subassembly of parts

• Assisting with inspection and quality check throughout assembly process

• Will be using crimpers, soldering tools, wire cutters

Requirements:

• 6+ months experience with mechanical and electrical assembly

• Must have a minimum of 3+ months experience with soldering (Basic understanding of how to solder, the tools used etc.)

• Ability to use basic small tools

• Good hand/eye coordination (Working with small and delicate parts)

• English comprehension required

• Willing to do repetitive assembly work

• Computer skills

Shifts:

Monday to Friday

7:00am – 3:00pm

Compensation Details:

• $23.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience

• 4% vacation pay

• Weekly payroll cycle

• Benefits will start immediately once employment commences. No wait period for health and dental benefits. Benefits begin the 1st of each month Employer provides 50% premium coverage on all benefit packages.
