Aerotek Looking for Mechanic at Surrey, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

Job Description

As a Mechanic, you will work on a diverse range of equipment including power sweepers, pressure washers, and salt spreaders. Your responsibilities include regular planned maintenance, urgent repairs, and complex projects such as equipment rebuilds. You will be required to manage equipment maintenance across two shops, handle various types of machinery, and adapt to ever-changing needs, including urgent breakdowns and routine service cleanings. You will also engage in both project-focused and preventive maintenance tasks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Surrey, British Columbia.

Work Environment

The work environment includes two shop locations where services are provided throughout the lower mainland 24/7, 365 days a year. The role involves handling over 100 pieces of equipment ranging from brand new to 15 years old. The work is dynamic and can often be physically demanding. Mechanics are expected to own their basic tools and be ready to work in a constantly evolving setting where no two days are the same
