Aerotek Looking for Shipper/Reciever at Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Full Time

• Description:* The role of “spare parts coordinator” is to support facilities by supplying them with critical parts to ensure uninterrupted production. Individuals will be responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory, of automotive parts to different location world wide. They will be responsible for speaking with customers and required to ship and receive with minimal error and fill out all the corresponding paperwork. Shipping and Receiving:
• Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials and put away or prepare to ship to plants
• Packaging and shipping of materials to plants or suppliers.
• Work with Logistics group to obtain shipping documents. Inventory Control:
• Monitor inventory levels in the system and in shop.
• Monitor and track parts movements to and from suppliers during the refurbishing process.
• Participate in annual inventory counts and lead cycle counts.

Plant/Engineering Support: -Create and process requisitions for Plants, Engineers and Depot.

• Effectively manage quoting process to plants.
• Assist in all inquiries related to spare parts including, identifying required part numbers, alternative components, available accessories, inventory availability and lead times. Purchasing: -Determines price and availability from vendors.
• Orders part, supplies, equipment and services utilizing an in house computerized procurement system.
• Expedite and follow up with suppliers for order and shipping confirmations and enters all updates into the system.
• Skills & Qualifications:* 1.) 2 years of shipping/receiving experience 2.) Ability to lift 50 pounds 3.) Mechanical aptitude/understanding of manufacturing environment. 4.) Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Shift:* 8am-4pm (Monday-Friday)
• Pay:* depending on experience
