Agilus Work Solutions Looking for Material Planner (Automotive) at Markham, Ontario, Canada Full Time

What you’ll do?

• Coordinate & implement engineering changes within Enterprise One, utilizing the engineering system PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
• Control obsolescence by supporting engineering changes, balance-outs and resourcing actions.
• Manage and ensure accuracy of BOM (Bill of Material) setups.
• Maintain department inventory objectives.
• Ensure accurate issuance of production and service part releases to suppliers.
• Investigate and address root cause of inventory discrepancies.
• Analyze and follow up to ensure timely delivery to support production lines.
• Interface with production and local third-party warehouse to ensure processes are maintained and establish new ones as necessary.
• Work with Purchasing, Design, Engineering, Production, Logistics Carriers and Customs Brokers to resolve supply concerns.
• Maintain internal/external pull system.
• Support customer prototype orders.
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause and corrective action (RCCA) analysis.

What you’ll bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field or college diploma with a minimum three years of manufacturing, planning and logistics experience.
• One or more of the following APICS Certifications: CPIM, CSCP and CLTD.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with an ability to identify risk, problem solve, effectively communicate and execute solutions.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software and MRP/ERP systems (JDE an asset).
• Programming ability in Crystal Reports and Visual Basic for Applications.
• Experience with creating visualizations in PowerBI, Tableau and/or other data visualization/analysis tools.
