RECORDS SPECIALIST

(Up to 40h/week, remote base considered, diversity valued, rural candidates encouraged, full-time)

Office:

• Develop and maintain records in compliance with grant reporting requirements, and records management best practices including staff time management and recording; project invoicing; report development, reporting system development, associated research.
• Collaborate with AWES partners and stakeholders within public, private, and non-governmental sectors.
• Assist with the development of proposals to acquire project funding.
• Work with supervisor to develop a mentorship plan, work towards goals set out in mentorship plan, and work with supervisor to evaluate and debrief on development activities to improve awareness of self and future goals and development needs.
• Present on progress of assigned projects with the intention of sharing success and seeking guidance from coworkers to develop organizational in individual capacity.
• Collaborate with AWES partners and stakeholders within public, private, and non-governmental sectors
• Seek out engagement and opportunities to support partner Not-for-Profit organizations through in-kind contribution opportunities.

Field Work (Rural Alberta):

• Opportunity to participate in field activities including rural site assessments, planting days, and/or in-person workshops and volunteer events. (available as a cross-training and interest opportunity, not required work for this position)

*this position is based out of the Crop Diversification Centre North Office (NW Edmonton). Rural Alberta remote work is also acceptable.
