Agwest Veterinary Group is looking for an experienced dairy veterinarian to join our practice in the beautiful Fraser Valley, British Columbia. Agwest is a vibrant, growing veterinary practice that strives to put our clients first and tailor our services to their needs. This position would comprise of ~85% dairy and ~15% small ruminant medicine.
We are looking for someone with a forward-thinking attitude focused on teamwork, client support, and passion for the dairy industry. Agwest encourages our team members to continually grow professionally and to develop their areas of interest. Our practice currently offers ET, IVF, Barn, and Ventilation consulting, Milking Parlour evaluation, business consulting, and employee training on top of our progressive approach to herd health management. We also have an expanding animal technician service to complement our veterinary care.
Agwest is a founding partner of XLVets Canada, a group of privately owned veterinary clinics across the country that work together to share knowledge, experience, and skills to achieve the highest standards of veterinary care (xlvets.ca).
The Fraser Valley is one of the most beautiful places in North America you can practice dairy medicine. We are nestled in a temperate rainforest surrounded by snow-capped mountains, leading to endless recreation activities. The cities of Vancouver (1hr) and Seattle (2.5hrs) are within driving distance for those wanting the amenities of a big metropolis.
