Air Liquide Healthcare Looking for Logistics Supervisor Virtual Hiring Event at Brampton, ON Full Time

VitalAire is currently recruiting a motivated permanent full-time Logistics Supervisor that will be based out of Concord, ON. The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of distribution and delivery activities and inventory.

• Manages and optimizes Drivers
• Supervises the planning and coordination of the distribution of cylinders
• Provides analysis of KPI’s and develops appropriate action plans
• Provides critical analysis of activities, identifies causes of dysfunction and proposes appropriate corrective actions.
• Communicates the vision, policies and objectives of the logistics team
• Provides coaching, development and performance management of the team
• Makes sure that each member has the skills, training and resources needed to operate autonomously
• Shares the objectives to be attained and takes the necessary measures to ensure execution
• Respects and ensures that internal and external regulations are respected in keeping with the policies and procedures that apply to the supply chain group
• Implements and ensures the timely follow-up of safety and quality indicators and adopts the necessary corrective measures

Here is what you will need

• College Certificate or Diploma in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years experience in a supervisor capacity in logistics
• Logistics and transportation related experience including but not limited to: equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, driver training, warehouse management, driver routing and scheduling, inventory management, transportation regulations
• Experience in Transportation Dangerous Goods (TDG)
• Excellent computer literacy with Gmail, Google Applications and logistics software
• Agreeing to disclose your COVID-19 vaccination status, as a condition of employment
• Agreeing to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to maintain such fully vaccinated status, as a condition of employment
