The Junior Accountant reports directly to Ajah’s Chief Operations Officer, offering the opportunity for broad experience across Operations and Finance in a small but growing company.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a broad skill set who is good at improving and formalising how we complete our recurring tasks, and skilled in business process improvement. Our ideal candidate has prior experience with bookkeeping and finance operations at a startup or a nonprofit organisation. The person with the best fit will be someone who loves working with numbers and is excited about helping shape an organisation as it grows.

This is a learning position – the Junior Accountant is expected to learn and incorporate new skills, and advance in the organisation – if successful – to independently lead projects and activities.
Position type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Montreal – Hybrid (employees typically work in our Griffintown office 3 days a week)
Benefits
Salary range: $50,000 to $65,000 CAD annual
