JOB TITLE: Group & Subscription Sales Representative
REPORT TO: Senior Director of Sales
STATUS: Regular Full -Time / Salaried

SUMMARY
The Group and Subscription Sales Representative is a key revenue-generating position within Alberta Ballet’s Sales Department that is focused on traditional group sales and new subscriptions. The Group and Subscription Sales Representative will be the primary liaison for group sales patrons and coordinate all aspects of their visit (reservation, ticketing, payment, extras) with appropriate Alberta Ballet staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Group and New Subscription Sales
Develop annual strategic plan to grow sales that includes a timeline to renew, reactivate and acquire groups, and outline the action steps required to achieve the plan.
Participate in planning and development of marketing campaigns to increase subscriptions and group sales
Develop and execute a new lead prospecting plan. This includes but is not limited to:
Work with managers to maintain a robust sales database of past, current and prospective groups, and subscribers.
Produce weekly/quarterly prospects reports.
Meeting and exceeding annual sales goals.
Increase awareness of Alberta Ballet as a group attraction:
Investigate and build strategic partnerships and programs to boost sales and awareness of Alberta Ballet with group tour-oriented organizations and attractions.
Cold and warm calls to potential groups and new subscribers
Coordinate with FOH for set up of large group sales/events at venue
Host group events at the at venue
Work with Artistic to develop and implement add on experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Love for dance and the arts
Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on sales and customer service
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with a proven track record in sales and marketing
Detail oriented, strong analytical skills and ability to be creative
Solid computer skills with ability to use MS Office Suite and learn basics of Arctics.
The ability to work evenings and weekends is required, in addition to travel within the province.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public.
Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues.
Demonstrated ability to be a contributing member of a cohesive team.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Successful candidates are required to complete a police background check as a condition of employment.
