Description:
As the Senior Consultant, you will be required to demonstrate advanced recruitment and project management skills and knowledge to effectively ensure a geocentric approach to targeting and hiring globally. To achieve this, the Senior Consultant will be accountable for the development and implementation of a global recruitment strategy that will include: selecting, placing, relocation support, travel and transportation logistics, labour market impact assessment processing, worker documentation, arrival and orientation programs, security and medical clearance, retention efforts, and community integration. You will demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking and complex problem-solving to respond to emerging governmental, organizational and client issues/needs, as they apply to global recruitment. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for tracking and monitoring project progress, scope and budget recruitment over three years. This will also include managing individual and team time working outside of standard business hours to effectively collaborate with other jurisdictions within and outside of Canada.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or another relevant degree (a combination of education and experience may be considered). Have four (4) or more years of professional experience in talent acquisition/recruitment. Have two (2) or more years of global recruitment experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience with global-targeted talent mapping and sourcing. Experience creating and implementing recruitment strategies. Experience working with, and presenting to, stakeholders at all levels of the organizations. Proven ability to identify areas recommended for change, implement change, and gain acceptance of stakeholders. Comprehensive working knowledge of project development, talent attraction and acquisition methodologies, talent management, and human resources in general. Knowledge and familiarity with project frameworks and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Project Management certification. Experience in a unionized environment or working with unionized staff. Experience using LinkedIn and other sourcing tools for recruitment.
