This position has been identified to transfer to DynaLIFE in February of 2023. The successful applicant will receive further information about the position’s transfer to DynaLIFE. As a laboratory assistant, you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and organized. You are interested in the challenge and variety of performing lab collections in various locations, including community-based Patient Service Centers, or performing mobile collections as operationally required, at Designated Assisted Living facilities and private homes. Working in collaboration with co-workers, other health professionals, physicians, and patients, you will solve problems and ensure a smooth, timely workflow. You can comfortably work independently and in a group setting, and will be able to manage vehicle maintenance, including scheduled service, when operationally required. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
A valid Class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions (a graduated driver’s license (GDL) will not be accepted). Experience in blood and ECG collections.
