Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Student Learning Centre & Libraries, the English as a Second Language (ESL) Coach works directly with individual learners to support second language (English) acquisition and communication skills to reach identified goals. The incumbent practices target language and models correct forms to support the learner in their second language development in their College courses and programs.
Job tasks include working with practice tests and building confidence in speaking through targeted conversation both individually and in small groups. Incumbent identifies weaknesses in the English language and addresses them through activities and suggested self-directed learning.

Anticipated Weekly Schedule
Hours will be 12-15 for the Fall and Winter terms. Schedule is flexible based on incumbent’s availability.
