Aligned Si Corp Looking for Junior Recruiter at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Here we grow again! Aligned Si is in need of a Junior Recruiter located in Ottawa, ON. to recruit candidates to staff our contracts with the government (federal/provincial/municipal), non-profits, and private sector. The Junior Recruiter will work closely with the Executive of Business Development in identification, development, and qualification of candidates and will collaborate and build strong relationships with Aligned Si’s existing consultants.

Responsibilities

• Screening, interviewing, onboarding, and qualifying job ad candidates/applicants.
• Conducting interviews and/or background research to gather necessary information, address gaps, and update candidate resumes to align with client/job requirements.
• Interviewing industry professionals and translating information provided into a compelling proposal response.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Tracking new opportunities, progress/updates, and evaluation results using spreadsheets.
• Monitoring procurement platforms for new opportunities and reviewing and qualifying solicitation documents.
• Coordinating, scheduling, and leading in-person and video meetings with job candidates.
• Hosting and attending huddles and meetings with internal team to provide updates and collaborate.
• Managing, tracking, and applying standardized naming conventions to documentation.
• Creating and posting job ads and other content on LinkedIn/Indeed and monitoring, analyzing, and replying to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary program in Business, Marketing, Technical Writing, or similar field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a recruiter.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and take initiative as needed
• Administrative, recruiting, business development, or sales support experience.
• Proficiency with Google Drive, Google Docs, Smartsheet, M365, and MS Teams are considered assets.
• Professional social media writing, editing, and publishing experience is considered an asset.
• Fluency in French is considered an asset.
