As an instructor, you will provide a positive, high-quality academic environment using appropriate teaching and learning techniques in compliance with the University’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for instructional delivery of an assigned course of study, including facilitating material, communicating with students, and evaluating students’ work.

Instructor Positions for the following programs

• Accounting and Finance
• Business and Management
• Software Engineering
• Information Technology
• Healthcare Leadership

Specifically, the Instructor will be responsible for:

• Designing, updating, and delivering a variety of courses including project courses
• Defining, evaluating, and validating program and course learning outcomes
• Developing alternative delivery strategies, online course development, and teaching as required
• Ensuring program and course curriculum are current, relevant, and reflective of best practices in the field
• Designing appropriate strategies and tools for facilitating and evaluating student progress and achievement
• Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment that supports the diversity of students’ cultures, educational backgrounds, and learning styles
• Working in a collaborative, collegial manner both within the department and across the university
• Support applied research activities including the identification and selection of potential projects
• Acting in a manner that upholds the University standards
• Keep up-to-date with, and effectively use, relevant technology in classes
• Perform other duties in special projects as assigned. Stay informed about changes and innovations in the area of expertise

Qualification and Experience

• University degree in:

– Business Administration

– B.Com

– Management

– Computer Science

– Information Technology – Accounting and Finance

• Minimum 1-year experience

Skills and Abilities

• Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction, including ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
• Sound knowledge in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High standards of behavior, a professional attitude, and commitment to quality service
• Demonstrates confidence, positivity, and a strong work ethic
