Allstaff Inc. is currently recruiting for a Direct Hire Accounting Clerk to support a growing global technology company in the United States, Canada and Globally. This position will be working remotely from home and reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Must have experience with Quickbooks. Experience with Xero (cloud based system) is an asset.
Job Duties:
- Accounting Clerk will work under the guidance and support to the Financial Controller
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records to Controller
- Enter A/P and A/R into system
- Various remittance reporting
- Complete payroll and expenses using PayChex and Ceridian
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions
- Enter data into computer system
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports for Controller
- Process incoming payments
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, excellent problem solving abilities and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong experience in accounting, auditing and SaaS revenue recognition an asset
- Education related to Accounting, Finance and Business or relevant field
- Experience with Quickbooks, Xero, Oracle NetSuite
- 3 – 5 years experience in Accounting/Finance
