Duties and responsibilities:
-Respond to requests related to conference rooms (facilities, configuration of rooms for meetings or events, etc.);
-Assist the conference room technician with requests for audio-visual equipment (presentations, teleconferences, audio/video meetings, etc.);
-Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the conference rooms, audio/video room, storage room and equipment therein;
-Monitor and supply conference rooms (including visitor rooms);
-Inspect conference room facilities and assist external technicians;
-Conduct periodic checks on the performance of conference room equipment (software upgrades, laptops, etc.);
-Assist with moves, new facilities and special projects;
-Replace, as required, absent members of the reception and room services team;
-Assist in general administrative tasks and provide administrative support as required;
-Respond to special requests.
Education, experience, skills and other requirements:
-High school or college diploma;
-At least two years of relevant experience;
-Good verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English;
-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint);
-Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to deliver quality work;
-Ability to manage stress professionally and meet deadlines;
-Ability to work alone or in a team, in a very dynamic environment;
-Excellent initiative, sense of responsibility, resourcefulness, reliability, professionalism, punctuality and discretion;
-Ability to multitask;
-Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the office and respond to client needs in a professional and courteous manner;
-Ability to lift heavy objects;
-Availability to work overtime as required.
