Position: Personal Support Worker – Vanier Homecare – Part-time
Location: Vanier
Salary: Up to $23 per hour
Shifts: Days, Afternoons, and Weekends

Alternacare is currently recruiting qualified Personal Support Workers to work with home care clients in the Vanier and East end community. These clients live independently but need a little extra help during the day to stay in their home and keep their independence. They need social interaction as well as care and assistance! Access to a car would make appointments easier for you, but using public transportation works fine too!

Hours of Work:
– Shifts available throughout the week, we will work with you to build a regular schedule!
Required Qualifications and Documentation:
– PSW certificate – mandatory
– 1 year of experience working as a PSW
– Excellent English communication skills, French is an asset
– Valid police records check (vulnerable sector)
– Valid and current CPR
– Up-to-date immunizations (Covid, TB, hepatitis B, MMR, varicella, tetanus, diphtheria)
– Ability to work independently
– Access to a vehicle and/or public transit
