We are representing a highly reputable Managed IT Provider in North York looking to hire a Director of IT for a full-time, hybrid position. As a Director of Information Technology, be at the forefront of leading client relationships and driving their technology vision. With a focus on client advocacy and strategic planning, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on infrastructure, security, and technology roadmaps.

In this dynamic role, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver unparalleled managed IT services and drive business outcomes. Expected start date: March 1st, 2023

Salary: $85,000 – 110,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) for key clients
• Build strong client relationships and advise on IT strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client objectives are met
• Conduct technology steering meetings and present reports on technology affairs
• Propose technology solutions to meet business requirements
• Manage and develop the internal team
• Stay current on the latest industry trends and advancements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT consulting experience, preferably in managed IT services (MSP)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT Management, Information Systems or equivalent
• Strong technical background with industry certifications a plus
• Experience working with C-level executives and managing a small team
• Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications, ConnectWise, and other related MSP tools and services
