Our team is working on an exciting opportunity for a skilled BUSINESS SYSTEM SPECIALIST with our leading client in the retail sector. This role is expected to be HYBRID at our client facility in Mississauga on CONTRACT for 6 or 12 MONTHS with a possibility of extension and estimated to start ASAP.
The Business Analyst is a systems expert, coordinating diverse projects, collaborating with units for technical solutions, issue resolution, and ongoing system development. They provide support, coordination, and quality assurance for the Pharmacy app and related projects, ensuring functionality and process alignment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct/process analysis & req. gathering with stakeholders
- Prep documentation for system enhancements
- Investigate defects, and engage agile teams & partners for resolution
- Collaborate across teams for cross-functional req.
- Assess scope & impact using app. knowledge
- Employ agile methodology for continuous evolution
- Develop Pharmacy Operating systems per workflow
- Ensure safety, speed, and team efficiency
- Define cost-effective solutions, build business cases
- Test enhancements, maintain quality & performance
- Engage in full system implementation phases
Requirements:
- Proficient in Kroll or similar pharmacy systems
- 5-7 years in retail pharmacy/healthcare
- SQL data extraction expertise
- Interface WMS tech with back-office systems
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio proficiency
- Agile, JIRA, Confluence experience
- Skilled in various testing types
- Basic reporting, HTML, and Excel knowledge (preferred)
- Resolve issues with software vendors
- Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication & problem-solving
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn
- Offer functionality suggestions
Nice-to-Haves:
- Retail Pharmacy exposure: POS, Mobile App, Handhelds, Payments, Delivery & central fill
- Business acumen in retail pharmacy/healthcare
- Quality assurance background
