Marketing Consultant (Hybrid Position)

Responsibilities:

A Digital Marketing Consultant is an integral part of Integrated Marketing, Planning & Performance, responsible for working closely with multiple businesses to plan, create, and implement client-facing, traffic-driving online systems. This includes consulting with stakeholders and business partners to create digital marketing plans, strategies and programs aimed at maximizing the use of online tools. In this role, an in-depth understanding of performance marketing, email marketing, social media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), analytics, usability, and e-commerce principles will be applied to ensure digital programs are effective in driving marketing and corporate objectives; increasing digital engagement and converting traffic into sales.

What you’re responsible for:

• Working with the Sales and Marketing team, to develop and continuously improve digital strategy and tactical plans that promote growth and positive online client experiences across multiple digital channels that align with the company’s overarching marketing strategy and business objectives.

• Collaborating with clients and business partners to research, develop, and present business cases/proposals for implementation of digital marketing strategies that grow businesses and enhance the client experience.

• Acting as a subject matter expert to clients for digital marketing best practices and market trends, website usability, web content direction and placement, website design, website architecture, SEO, SEM, and testing.

• Interpreting and using analytics and test results in recommendations for continuous site improvement, client growth, and improved client experiences.

• Remaining well-informed of competitor activities and the ever changing digital landscape in order to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and negotiating and managing external 3rd party vendor relationships for online marketing initiatives.

To join our team:

• You have 5-7 years of digital marketing experience in a corporate, matrix organization.

• You have completed a University degree in digital marketing, communications, marketing, advertising, computer science, or related field.

• You have comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing tactics such as email marketing, social media marketing, SEO, SEM, content marketing, digital measurements, and metrics as well as usability principles and best practices.

• B2B sales, a niche industry is a plus

• Proficiency with marketing tools (salesforce, mail chimp)

• Knowledge of Zoom and Google Meets to be able to meet clients virtually

Applicants must:

• Be available to work part-time (10 hours per week)

• Be available to have weekly meetings

• Have 5+ years of experience

• Have marketing experience

• Have knowledge of the products and services we provide

• Have a passion for the minimum one of the following industries: Travel and Tourism, The Health and Wellness Industry, The Sports/Fitness and Recreation Industry, Construction/Renovations, Real Estate, Development industry and a pulse of what’s trending

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10 per week

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
