On a turnkey basis, our four (4) allied companies, Farms, Produce, Express and Storage, specialize in all aspects of the Greenhouse Produce Market. From the germinated seed to our final premium crop, we have complete control over the growing, packing and shipping of our products to assure consistent quality and food safety to our valued consumers.

Position Summary/Objective:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in Logistics, overseeing the transportation of commodities, understanding of customs and working with customs brokers, processes orders and oversees cycle of order fulfillment.

Responsible for making sure produce, supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.

Essential Functions

·Facilitate the shipping of produce from one destination to another;

·Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay;

·Liaise between Purchasing and Sales departments, as well as external parties, to resolve any shipping issues and/or inquiries;

·Process and reconcile daily invoices for customers and vendors, as well as assist with minor accounts payable/receivable issues that arise;

·Review all export documentation for errors and adherence to international regulations;

·Receives products and coordinates deliveries;

·Prepares loads for shipment;

·Takes necessary measures ensure there are no issues with quality;

·Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met;

·Constant revisions of freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible;

·Streamlines shipping and transportation processes.

Additional:

·Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

·High proficiency in MS Word/Excel

·May be required to work over-time.

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
