Job Summary

Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and go-to-market plans to meet company objectives. This role is responsible for planning and overseeing all marketing activities for the Sulwhasoo brand, such as advertising, social media, PR, CRM, evaluating market conditions and implementing marketing plan changes as needed. The position involves collaborating with key stakeholders including retail partners, cross-functional team members, and US and Korea counterparts etc. This position will report to General Manager, Amorepacific Canada.

Principal Accountabilities

Marketing Strategy

• Develop annual marketing plan in conjunction with sales department, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting company objectives
• Analyze and interpret sales data by channel to guide or recommend strategies
• Monitor engine product sales and effectiveness of marketing/promotional/merchandising strategies
• Communicate closely with HQ PM and international team to be informed of corporate direction and discuss products and marketing initiatives

Oversee Execution of Local Marketing Plan

• prepare and present retailer market meeting decks and go-to-market strategy
• Lead annual sampling strategy, forecast, budget and manage allocations with retailers
• Manage and track advertising & promotions budget
• Lead competitive research to influence product development and market needs
• Manage and develop CRM activities
• Lead, coach and manage team members
• Collaborate with Planning and Operations teams for Inventory Management

Product Development / Advertising & PR:

• Product road map: Lead product development strategy in CA market, planning product map for next three years.
• Manage timeline of product development with Headquarters to ensure timely launch
• Product Life Cycle Management based on per SKU sales data. Volume/units.
• Seasonal Forecast for new product launches, in partnership with Demand Planning
• Budgetary spending in all marketing activities and monitored to be on target with projections
• Interface with PR agency to create, develop, and meet the Media objectives.
• Coordinate all CA Advertising campaigns: National, Channel specific.

Key Experience and Skills

Qualification and Experience

• 5+ years experience in marketing in Beauty industry / skincare experience preferred
• BA or higher degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent experience required
• Strong fluency in digital marketing
• Substantial experience with beauty retailers (e.g., Sephora and Department stores)
• Additional language preferences: French, Mandarin Chinese, and/or Korean

Salary: $40,188.00-$74,515.00 per year
