At AWS Kumo, we hire the world’s brightest minds, offering an environment where they can relentlessly detect, design, and drive solutions to excel operationally and improve customer experiences. We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to be a trusted technology partner for our customers, scoping and delivering critical cross-organizational projects end-to-end and drive operational excellence programs across Kumo.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include driving complex cross-functional projects, reporting to leadership to provide visibility, advising on and collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, working closely with AWS Enterprise Support partners, and driving project schedules from design to release, in order to drive customer experience and key metric improvements. Operationally, you’ll drive programs to increase our product delivery quality, safety and predictability. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
The right candidate possesses a strong program management background, has demonstrated experience leading large projects, and has a well-rounded technical background in current web technologies. The person executing this role must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. If it’s you, this means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
