Angelic Treasures Christian Daycare Looking for Registered Early Childhood Educator at Newmarket, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Duties:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for children
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Provide individualized attention and support to each child
• Monitor and assess children’s progress and communicate with parents or guardians
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, behavior, and progress
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained

Skills:

• Strong time management skills to effectively plan and prioritize tasks
• Ability to educate and engage young children in learning activities
• Leadership skills to guide and supervise children in a classroom setting
• Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks
• Knowledge of childcare best practices and early childhood education principles
• Experience working with children, including those with special education needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Frenchify (Frenchify is a made-up term here)
