Annex Mechanical is one of the leading and fastest growing mechanical contractors in the GTA. As we continue to grow our business, so has our reach into the eastern construction sector. We are currently looking for a role of a mechanical project coordinator based in Ottawa, ON.
As Project Coordinator, Mechanical Construction you will:
• Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors on multiple concurrent projects with scheduling and daily tasks.
• Maintain and update document control logs, assist and issue through on project management procedures: change orders, as-built drawings, close out documents.
• Equipment and subcontractor procurement and issuing purchase orders.
• Reviewing scope of work for subcontractors and ensuring compliance with specifications of contract documents.
• Coordinate equipment and material deliveries daily.
• Participate in site meetings and document meeting minutes.
• Maintain records of daily site tasks and log project progress against budgets.
• Proactively identify potential problems and/or schedule delays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• You have related Mechanical Engineering post-secondary education and a minimum of one year related experience; trade experience a definite asset.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
• You have experience analyzing and understanding mechanical construction drawings and experience working on commercial projects.
