Job Overview

As the Assistant Marketing Specialist at Anton Paar Canada, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing efforts of our scientific and analytical instrumentation products and solutions in the Canadian market. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the National Marketing Manager and HQ marketing team to deploy the marketing strategy in the Canadian market (product launches, product maintenance, awareness campaigns, etc.). Create engaging and informative marketing materials, including flyers, event material and digital content such as social media posts and email campaigns.
• Assist in planning and coordinating trade shows, conferences, workshops, and other marketing events. This involves liaising with event organizers, managing logistics, coordinating booth setup, and ensuring the successful execution of events.
• Support the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including content creation, search engine optimization (SEO), and email marketing campaigns.
• Utilize the company’s CRM system to manage customer data, segment audiences, and track marketing campaigns’ effectiveness and keep the data always up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to provide marketing materials, product information, and other resources required for effective customer engagement and lead generation.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, analyze data and present insights to help guide marketing strategies and decision-making.
• Ensure consistent and accurate use of the Anton Paar brand guidelines across all marketing materials and communication channels.
• Help Facilitate onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination.
• Prepare and maintain HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in posting job listing, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordination candidate communication.

Deliverables

• Marketing Collateral: Creation and coordination of various marketing materials. Monitoring the head office’s strategic plan and updating the editorial calendar accordingly.
• Marketing Performance Analysis: Monitoring key marketing metrics and preparing reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (2 years) in marketing or a related role, preferably within the scientific or analytical instrumentation industry.
• Familiarity with digital marketing techniques, including social media, email campaigns.
• Experience with Google Ads & Linkedin Ads (an asset)
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English – required
• Strong communication and writing skills to create engaging and accurate marketing content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for science, technology, and innovative products is a plus.
• Have the authorization to work in Canada.
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English – bilingualism essential
