The role:
As the Bid Manager you will be responsible for leading an internal team in producing high quality proposals for bidding on various public and private sector opportunities in Canada and around the world. In some cases, you will be significantly involved in pre-sales and pre-RFP activities ensuring all resources are aligned to the client’s requirements.

The Responsibilities: *
- Analyze the RFP/bid requirements against the proposal outline to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the customer’s issues and needs.
- Exercise full responsibility and authority for complex government proposals and bid preparations.
- Assist sales managers and directors in developing a proposal structure.
- Manage the bid preparation process to ensure customer needs are addressed and a winning approach is adopted.
- Conducting discovery sessions with customers.
- Contribute to technical and product information in response to Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ) & Requests for Informations (RFI).
- Partner with the Account Executive to create business objectives, assess client’s goals and needs, and drive value for the client
- Customize and tailor relevant information to address customer requirements.
- Assess customer’s requirements, define and manage scope and provide cost estimates.
- Validate proposed project scoping with internal stakeholders including project managers, technical leads, designers, strategists and project teams.
- Draft content to address functional and non-functional aspects of what the customer is looking for
- Review content from other contributors and ensure quality and cohesiveness in the proposals that are drafted ensuring on-time submission.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience in the IT industry
- At least 2 years of experience in client-facing consulting environments with a focus on IT services or product pre-sales.
- Excellent presentation skills and product knowledge.
- Must be very collaborative and thrive in a team oriented environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
