Job Description

Reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing and collaborating with Marketing and Engineering, the Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working with the sales team to tailor and deliver product demos
• Hearing and understanding prospects’ business and technology challenges
• Proposing solutions based on our capabilities
• Understanding and identifying gaps or where we fall short
• Collaborating with Product Development to determine if we could (or should!) offer gap-bridging alternatives; presenting options to prospects
• Using your in-depth product mastery to plan the solution design and configuration choices to be used by our customer success team when implementing each new client (2-3 per month)
• Staying closely connected to engineering and product development to influence the roadmap and keeping current with feature releases
• Mentoring the professional services team; helping them overcome roadblocks and implementing your vision

This is the perfect job for you if you have:

• 5+ years of experience preparing and presenting software demonstrations
• Thorough understanding of business processes i.e., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, etc.
• Love and aptitude for tinkering and experimenting with software
• A knack for coming up with creative and out-of-the-box solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with a dynamic personality
• Passionate about leading-edge technologies
• Exceptional organization skills and able to work from your home
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills in English
