Overview
The Customer Care & Logistics Specialist is a salaried member of the Operations Team. This role is instrumental in providing the necessary communication between the customer’s needs and Apogee’s Operations Team. The Customer Care & Logistics Specialist also manages issue resolution and provides recommendations for improving customer service.
The Customer Care & Logistics Specialist is responsible for the oversight of the life cycle of products and items, including preparation, shipping, and receiving. They offer support with the maintenance of logistics policies, administer, and maintain inventory control program/systems and coordinate with the Operations team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers.
Achieving objectives and goals in this position requires personal commitment to attention to detail, a strong ability to communicate and availability beyond customary business hours. The Customer Care & Logistics Specialist will be expected to provide additional support as requirements dictate.
Reporting Relationships
The Customer Care & Logistics Specialist reports to the Business Manager. He/she works in conjunction with fellow Accounting, Supervisors, Lead Hands, Engineers, Health & Safety Committee and Maintenance Personnel.
Main Responsibilities
Customer Care:
The primary focus of this role is to provide support to customer needs and communicate to Operations Team. To achieve this, they must complete and manage daily.
2. Logistics Specialist:
Another key focus of this role is to manage the product/item life cycle within the factory including preparation, shipping, and receiving. These responsibilities include but not limited to:
